イギリス文学基礎演習（チェイニ,ピーター）
This course introduces some famous and significant poems from British Literature. We begin with a short and very beautiful love poem by William Shakespeare, and end by studying the two poets who begun British Romanticism, S. T. Coleridge and William Wordsworth. The themes of this course are love, family happiness, and the joy of being young and alive in natural surroundings.

英語学基礎演習（小林 亜希子）
サラリーマンが自分の職務を話す時、“I have to work from 9 to 5.”とは言えますが“I must work from 9 to 5.”とは言えません。“Come here.”よりも“Please come here.”の方が失礼になることがあります。ネイティブ・スピーカーは英語に囲まれて育つことでニュアンスの違いをなんとなく身につけます。この「なんとなく」の違いとは何か、「データと論理」に基づいて明らかにしていくのが英語学です。
